Hailed as the “only real competitor to the iPod touch”, the Samsung Galaxy tablet has a lot to live up to … so does it? Recently on the market, it’s priced at an average of around £300-400 ish and has had a good reception from consumers.
I did see it reviewed on a Tech show on TV and the reviewer was less than impressed with the apps situation. Before we get on to that though, he was very impressed by the thinness of the device on the 10.1 version (8.6 mm slim) and the general feel and “handling” quality. It was back in 1938 that Samsung was created as a food processing and textile purveyor. Their electronic components subsidiary followed in 1969 and the rest is history. [Read more...]
